This building on the west side of the square looks a lot different from its 1910 predecessor (see below). S.H. Kress & Co. was probably responsible for its remodeling when they turned the location into a department store around 1914. The ornate trim is absent today, but the stone window dressings remain. The building is now apparently a "Chair Mart Showcase." |
