Cottey College is a women's college in Missouri, founded in 1884 by Virginia Alice Cottey Stockard. Since 1927 it has been owned and operated by P.E.O. International, a philanthropic women's organization. It is the only nonsectarian U.S. college owned, operated, and supported by women.
